(You’re wondering: “What’s an RSS feed and how can I read it?” No worries. A RSS feed sends you a notification - and the according post - whenever we’ve written something new. That’s interesting for those of you who don’t want to regularly check our website for updates. There are different services and application to read RSS feeds, for example the Google Reader. Wikipedia has an extensive explanation.)
Wir haben es ja schon öfter gesagt und bleiben dabei: German Gemütlichkeit rockt. Und was könnte German Gemütlichkeit besser illustrieren als ein guter alter Plattenbau, wie der, den wir auf dieses Shirt gepackt haben?
Weil ein Plattenbau auch schön massiv sein muss, haben wir das Motiv ordentlich groß über die gesamte Frontseite gedruckt - so groß, dass wir gleich zwei Siebe brauchten, um den Druck aufzutragen. (Und ja, der Kontrast zwischen schwarz und grün kommt stark genug raus.)

We’ve said it before, and we’ll stick to it: German Gemütlichkeit rocks. For those non-native speakers out there, allow us to quote Wikipedia’s definition of Gemütlichkeit:
A gemütlich person again is one that takes part in this lifestyle and knows about the tensions he/she is able to cause, and thus tries to avoid these things actively. (…) One characteristic of a gemütlich situation is that one could blot out everything else (past, future, other places and absent people) and yet everything would be fine (an eternal “now and here”). Germans describe that as “leaving everything at the doorstep”.
And what could illustrate German Gemütlichkeit better than, say, a good old Plattenbau like the one we put on this shirt?
Since a Plattenbau needs to be nice & massive, we printed the motive really large across the whole front - so large indeed, that we needed two sieves for the print. (Yes, the contrast between black and green is strong enough.)
