What’s Germany famous for? Right: Beer, wurst and… Gemütlichkeit.
For those out there who aren’t German native speakers, allow us to quote from Wikipedia:
A gemütlich person again is one that takes part in this lifestyle and knows about the tensions he/she is able to cause, and thus tries to avoid these things actively. (…) One characteristic of a gemütlich situation is that one could blot out everything else (past, future, other places and absent people) and yet everything would be fine (an eternal “now and here”). Germans describe that as “leaving everything at the doorstep”.
A nice concept indeed! So far, this is only a rough draft, but we’ll probably turn this one into a shirt. How do you like it?
Ein weiterer Popdiktator, der wusste, wie man Medienrummel erzeugte: Es geht die Geschichte, dass Idi Amin die Angewohnheit hatte, die Köpfe seiner Gegner im Kühlschrank aufzubewahren. Nicht, dass wir so ein Verhalten gutheißen würden (tun wir nicht), aber es bietet sich als Vorlage für ein spannendes Design allemal an, oder etwa nicht?
Wir haben noch keine konkreten Pläne, das Motiv zu drucken - was denkst Du?

Another pop dictator who knew how to generate media buzz: As one famous story states, Idi Amin had a habit of keeping his opponents’ heads in a fridge. Not that we endorse this kind of behavior (we don’t), but it does lend to an intriguing design, don’t you think?
As of now, we don’t have any concrete plans for printing this motive - what do you think?
Kennst Du diesen Typ aus dem Fernsehen? Mehr als alle anderen Staatschefs hat wohl Mr Libyen das Zeug zum Popstar. Wer weiß, vielleicht wird daraus eine Serie? Wir haben uns noch nicht entschieden was aus dem Motiv wird. Was denkst Du: Würdest Du es tragen wollen? Worauf: Auf einem Shirt oder einer Tasche? Vielleicht auf einem Button?
