Maybe you’ve seen our “Let’s listening my music” shirt and wondered: “WTF?” Well, you’re not alone. But Katrina of T-shirts Around the Internet comes to your (and our) help: She wrote down the history of the motive, and what led us there:

While backpacking through Indonesia, Peter happened to find this little store who sold cheap fake shirts. The t-shirts were hilarious, as you may imagine, having some English phrase, always completely wrong and a picture that supplemented the words. Phrases like “Chicken nugget is alone” or “Chicken nugget is reborn” (I’m cracking up right now) along with an image of a chicken next to it consisted a completely surreal and irregular t-shirt that he just couldn’t resist buying! One of the shirts had the words “Let’s listening my music” and a dancing girl that looked really depressed and not felt like dancing at all.

I know it’s odd, but I really love this motive. Good memories indeed!

Wir haben keingeschenk.de vor allem aus einem Grund gestartet: Weil wir Shirts mögen und es Spaß macht, sie selbst zu entwerfen. Deshalb stöbere ich auch gerne in Tee Blogs (”Tee” wie in T-Shirt, nicht das Getränk), lese Reviews, blättere durch die Fotogalerien. We started keingeschenk.de primarily for one reason: ’cause we like shirts and it’s fun to design them. That’s why I love poking around in tee blogs, reading reviews, browsing photo galleries. And that’s also why, as of now, there is a neat little blog roll on the right hand of the screen: Under the label Tee Blogs we collect blogs about shirts and design.
